On March 7, we celebrate Mindsets Day—a day dedicated to embracing and reflecting on the 7 Mindsets that empower each of us to think big, live with purpose, and take action.

7 Mindsets Co-founder and CEO Scott Shickler explains the significance of the number 37 (3/7 or March 7): “37 is the new 24/7. The 3 stands for morning, noon, and night and the 7 represents every day of the week. So, when we say, ‘Live Your Dreams 37,’ we are encouraging people to dream big all day, every day. When I sign a copy of the book, The 7 Mindsets to Live Your Ultimate Life, I often put a 37 under my signature. That’s a little reminder that I’m trying to be my authentic self all the time (morning, noon, and night).”

This year, we are expanding our celebration to Mindsets Week, March 2–7, and we hope you will join us as we recognize the positive power of mindsets to change our lives—today and in the future. To help you plan an engaging, fun-filled, and intentional Mindsets Day event in your classroom or school, we have several Resources and Activities for you and your students, a Mindsets Day Contest, and events to engage and embrace the power of the Mindsets! #MindsetsWeek26

Mindsets Day Contest!
The 7 Mindsets team is excited to know how you, your students, and your school celebrate Mindsets Day (and Week)! Our Mindsets Day Contest is your chance to share your celebration and have the chance to win a Mindsets Day swag bag. Classroom teachers, guidance counselors, social workers, administrators, and other 7 Mindsets school champions are encouraged to enter the contest.

How It Works: 

  • Submit a short paragraph (3-5 sentences) sharing what the mindsets mean to you and how you are celebrating Mindsets Day in your classroom or school.

  • Include 3-5 photos of your school or classroom’s Mindsets Day celebration. Photos with students must be able to be shared on our social media pages.

  • Send your description and photos to marketing@7mindsets.com.

  • One winner and two runners-up will be selected from the submissions.

  • Winner will receive a $100 GC and a swag bag (collection of 7 Mindsets swag for classroom or school). Runners-up will receive a $50 GC and swag bag.

Submissions are due Saturday, March 7, at 11:59 PM ET. Winners will be announced the following week via email and social media.

MINDSETS DAY ACTIVITIES & GAMES

Mindsets Day Scavenger Hunt
Throughout Mindsets Week, students are challenged to find the number “37” in their day-to-day. This could be in their classrooms or school, on their commute to/from school, or even while they are at extracurricular activities, out shopping, etc. Students take a screenshot of the “37," then either send to their teacher, have their parents send, etc. to share their findings. The student(s) with the most “37” screenshots/pictures win.
**Modifying for younger students: Teachers print one or more copies of the Scavenger Hunt #37 Printout, cut out the individual 37 blocks, have students color them, then hide them throughout the room. Then students work in teams or pairs to find the hidden “37” cutouts. The pair/team that find the most win.
